Introduction

I was born in Fermo in 1963 and have been working in the world of light since 1986.

In 2000, I started my studio for consultation, design, and project management; since 2002, I have expanded the field to product design, following the development of lighting devices from the idea to industrialization, with a focus on testing and trials.

My journey has also grown abroad, with offices in Malta and Dubai, up to Switzerland, where I have been operating with SPLD SA since 2013.

Alongside my professional practice, I pursue teaching and training: seminars for companies, courses, and lectures in the academic field, because what I know about light (and what I continue to learn) I want to convey with rigor and method.

“Man of Copper” is the name by which clients, friends, and collaborators call me.

Copper is the metal of electrical conductors needed for lighting devices. Where the light designer goes, copper also arrives, in large quantities. Copper and I have many things in common: we are ductile, malleable, and good conductors. But don’t put us under tension: we will give you an electric shock unintentionally. However, don’t worry, we only want to shine a light on the good and pleasant things. Light is a celebration.

LIGHTING DESIGN

I cater to the client's needs at all stages of lighting design: from consultancy, after thorough information gathering, to project definition, and finally to project management with site inspections, site approvals, and commissioning during the execution phase.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

Project for new products in line with market trends in lighting, integrating cutting-edge technologies and a contemporary aesthetic. I work methodically between concept and engineering, transforming an idea into an industrializable product, capable of surprising and remaining consistent with the brand's identity.

LM&CS DESIGN

I deal with Lighting Management & Control Systems (LM&CS) to combine perceptual quality and energy efficiency: I design and programme management and control systems that allow for the modulation of light according to needs, times, and functions, creating dynamic scenarios that are consistent with architecture and sustainability principles.

TEACHING

Thanks to the experience gained in professional and academic fields, I conduct advanced training activities for operators in the electricity market - both technical and commercial - with courses designed to transfer methodology, a culture of light, and truly applicable operational tools.

MARKETING

I bring my skills to events, conferences, seminars, and in-depth meetings, with the aim of promoting a true culture of light: not just solutions, but a design philosophy capable of uniting technique, perception, and responsibility towards places.
