Chiesa Prepositurale S.S. Quirico e Giulitta

In the heart of the historical fabric of Novazzano, light intervenes delicately. In this lighting intervention for the church, I focused on the balance between respect for the place and perceptive clarity, aiming to make the sacred space readable without altering its atmosphere.

The project prioritises a discreet, almost invisible lighting design, capable of highlighting the architecture without overwhelming it. The sources, all of high chromatic quality, have been selected to best showcase materials and finishes, maintaining a collected and intimate tone.

The lighting adapts to various liturgical needs and also considers everyday usability, thanks to differentiated scenarios that are easily activatable. The goal is not only to see but to feel the space: a light that guides and accompanies, never imposing.

Essential and measured, the light I designed for the Church of Saints Quirico and Giulitta restores dignity and presence to the architecture, integrating naturally and respectfully into the space.
